Come and dig in with A Rocha France at Les Courmettes!

This April, the A Rocha France team at Les Courmettes invites you to join them for an international volunteer week – an opportunity to (re) discover the Domaine des Courmettes and be part of making it even more welcoming for our many visitors.

The Domaine des Courmettes is a 600 ha estate in the mountains above Nice, up at 850m. A week here offers you the chance to marvel at this beautiful part of creation, to meet people from all walks of life and to share times with the Bible and in prayer along with the Courmettes team.

No particular skill required! Just make sure you pack some work clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty!

Overview of typical day:

The day will start with a time of worship together, followed by communal work (around 4 hours per day) on things like DIY, outdoor maintenance, gardening, trail signage, etc. We will also offer some kind of outing or activity to allow you to discover the magnificent environment of Courmettes, as well as the option of some free time.

Two or three themed evenings will be proposed over the week; the other evenings will be left free to give you some space to be and process.

Useful information :

Arrivals and departures : you are welcome to arrive from 17h00 on Sunday, 19 April 19. The week ends after breakfast on Saturday, 25 April.

Cost: from 150 to 300 € full board, depending on the accommodation chosen (see registration form).

Accommodation: single or shared room (twin), either en suite (limited) or shared bathroom. Other possibilities: dormitory, camping or family apartment (limited availability – contact us).

Access: you can get to or near Les Courmettes by train, bus, plane or car.

By car: we encourage carpooling to come to Les Courmettes. Please contact us so that we can put you in touch with other people coming from your area.

By train or plane: the nearest airport is Nice; the nearest train station is Cagnes-sur-Mer or Antibes. From any of those places, please continue by bus to Vence, from where we will organize transport to Les Courmettes (shuttle 10 € / person / trip). Full directions and details are on our website.

We will then ask you to pay a deposit (100 € / person) to confirm your registration.
