Technology permeates our daily lives. What if we took a disconnected break to reflect on its environmental impacts and its influence on our relationships and spiritual life?

This week of study includes a thematic core curriculum, optional workshops and outdoor activities.

Our programme

  • theological, ethical and practical contributions on technology and its influence on our daily lives and relationships : Bible and technology, Ethical issues of the digital age, Machines and superheroes, Low-tech, Technology and environmental impact, A look at human sciences…
  • optional workshops to get hands-on and reconnect with yourself, God, others and nature. Discover the Battle of AI, a card game to explore the social and environmental challenges of Generative AI.
  • nature activities: Pic des Courmettes walk, biodiversity walks, nocturnal world evening
  • social evenings: dance, praise and prayer, games…

Annual membership of A Rocha France (compulsory): €5/adult on HelloAsso
Full board and activities on site (price per person for the week) :

Practical information

  • Arrival on Sunday from 4pm, departure on Saturday morning after breakfast.
  • Meals are organic, vegetarian or with reasonable quantities of meat or fish.
  • You’ll be invited to help with the washing-up in a friendly atmosphere!
  • Sheets and duvets are provided (except when camping), but not towels.
  • The buildings are at an altitude of 850 m, so it can be cool in the evenings and mornings, even in summer!
