Beekeeping workshops 2021
21 August de 10h00 - 12h30
Come and discover the world of the hive, the work of the bees, and a method of beekeeping that takes care of its bees. These sessions will be run with Tristan Roussel, the beekeeper of Les Courmettes.
We will meet on site at the welcome point (the doorway of the main building) at 9am. The dates are as follows:
– Saturday 4th September
Prepare yourself for a half-day interactive and participatory workshop, adapted to the group, during which you will discover beehives and beekeeping. You are also more than welcome to stay after the session, enjoy our site, and have a picnic on the lawn in front of the buildings, if you wish.
To approach the bees safely, please come appropriately dressed and wear long sleeves, trousers and socks. The rest of the equipment is provided. Also, please don’t forget to bring water, a small backpack, and good walking shoes!
In order to reduce the risk of coronavirus, we ask that you please maintain a safe distance of at least 1 metre during our excursions. We also ask that you wear a mask for the duration of the workshop. We cannot be held responsible for non-compliance with these rules or subsequent infections.
Registration is required and, because of covid, are sessions are unfortunately capped to 9 participants. Click here to register!
Participation costs 20€ per person.
At the end of the workshop it will be possible to buy various products from the hive – if this is something that interests you, please bring some extra money!
In accordance with the weather, you will be informed of the cancellation of the workshop by email, either the day before or the day of the session.
