After the big success of the “Natuurwerkweek 2019”, we would again like to welcome a Dutch group to the beautiful Domaine des Courmettes! A week filled with volunteering work, discovering the stunning environment, shared times of bible meditation and prayer, and much more!

The Domaine des Courmettes is a large estate with an environmental education centre in the mountains above Nice. A small team of A ROCHA France works together with volunteers and students to protect the 600 ha of unique nature. Each year they also organise a range of conferences, seminars and study weeks with a focus on creation care. With a centuries old country house, a large garden and several hiking trails, there is always enough to do!

Register before the 1st of April 2020 for this active working week in nature in the South of France. We will work together in and around the old buildings, attack the weeds in the garden, but also have enough time for recreation. For example, take the opportunity to climb the Pic de Courmettes and enjoy the incredible beautiful panorama of the Côte d’Azur!

Arrival and departure

People can arrive from 5pm on Sunday 26th April and departures will be after breakfast on Saturday 2nd May.  More details about transport and arrangements are given in the booking form below and on the website here.

Costs

Courmettes does not receive any governmental support and relies fully on donations and the income of commercial activities. For a normal stay we therefore charge about €35-40 per night. In order to keep the “natuurwerkweek” accessible for a wide public we lowered the price to €175 p.p. For families we can offer a discount of 25% for the 1st child, 50% for the 2nd child and 65% for all other children. Children below the age of 3 can come for free.

This does not cover all our costs. We therefore ask you to consider making an extra donation on top of this, in order to support our work. Of course this is not an obligation and we appreciate your participation in either way. After confirmation of registration payment can be done by wire transfer to IBAN NL45 TRIO 2000 6140 43 in the name of Stichting A Rocha Nederland te Amersfoort, citing your name and “Natuurwerkweek Courmettes”.
